We just completed a new donor wall for the St. Luke's Healthcare Foundation. The 25' x 8' wall recognizes over 5,500 donors with levels from under $100 to over $3,000,000. The donor wall is backlit with RGB LED lighting for unlimited color possibilities. The main portion of the wall has 440 spaces for names with movable blocks. In order to better position the Food Bank to meet the increasing need for years to come, NIFB launched a Capital Campaign “We are running out of space, but not out of hungry people” to build a new Food Distribution and Community Nutrition Center. The campaign was a success and in August 2011 Northern Illinois Food Bank opened the doors of their new facility.
Northern Illinois Food bank provides food for an estimated 502,400 different people annually, and 61,600 different people in any given week. The number of supporters of the Capitol Campaign demonstrates what impact this food bank has on the community. The Luxembourg American Cultural Society recognizes those who belong to the Red Lion Society with a specially designed art piece that symbolizes the membership and recognizes the gracious support. When this distinguished museum needed to recognize their annual donors, they asked us to design a thoughtful, affordable donor recognition wall. Our task was to design, create and install a display that was of a caliber worthy of display in The Cedar Rapids Art Museum’s $10 million renovated, modern lobby.
